Dallas City Guide

For our Heart collection shoot we paid a sweet little visit to Bird Bakery, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to explore everything else Dallas has to offer and what better way than from one of our favorite locals, interior designer Amy Berry. Amy shared her Nursery Design tips previously on the blog, but is back to share all the best spots to eat, shop and stay in Dallas.

Rosewood Mansion

The Crescent is centrally located in the heart of the Uptown District and is walking distance to wonderful dining options and shops. For dinner, Nobu is a great option.

Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek is a little hidden gem tucked away on Turtle Creek in the middle of downtown.  Be sure to grab a drink after dinner at the Jazz Bar for some live music entertainment.

Le Bilboquet is our favorite spot in Dallas.  The French bistro is known for its great scene and Cajun chicken. Their pancakes are tough to beat too...

Mi Cocina is a Dallas staple, and a great spot with little ones. We spend a lot of time there. it's nice having a place to go that can withstand screaming kids and a messy table.

Javier's is another personal favorite, it's Mexican food like no other.

If you are looking for an experience, The French Room in the Adolphus Hotel is one of a kind.  The recently renovated space will bring you back to another century while enjoying the incredible French menu.

Highland Park Village is one of Dallas’ fun shopping and dining experiences.  We love to stroll and grab a coffee at Royal Blue Grocery on the weekend.

Katy Trail is a fun spot if you are looking to spend time outdoors. It is fun for the entire family.

If you have kids, be sure to stop into the Perot Museum.  There are so many activities and will keep everyone entertained for hours! We love it and the Dallas Zoo on weekends!
