This is a lovely nightgown but the fabric weave is different from the regular Lakes apparel I've worn previously. The knit of the fabric almost looks like wicking activewear. It does not have the same smooth feel despite the fact that it says 100% cotton. I would probably have returned the nightgown in exchange for a regular one, but I don't want to pay for the return shipping so I will just keep it. Fit is slightly large in the neckline - a little scoopy.

While our pajamas run true to size, they will shrink - mostly in length. That’s just the nature of our lusciously soft fabrics. However, we’ve accounted for this in shrinkage in our design. So if you feel like your pjs are a little larger than normal, don’t fret. They’re made that way to account for the wash.
