I bought this robe because of the slits on the side. I think that gives the robe a bit of subdued bling. I like the sewn in belt as it roomy but doesn't have all that excess fabric. I tried on the size Medium in the store but it was too large. I ordered a Small on-line and it fits perfectly. I washed it exactly as recommended and it still fits. The description says it may shrink - mainly in length. Shrinking in length would be fine. I hope it doesn't shrink elsewhere. I love the robe. I am petite and because this robe is a midi-length, it is a good length for me. Same for the sleeves. The weight is a medium weight that I like.
