Our Women’s Pima robe, perfect for rolling out of bed and onto the front porch with a good book, is a must-have for transitional seasons. It’s shown in sunrise, a blushing, tawny hue with watercolor stripes. This style features long sleeves, a sewn-in belt, and side pockets. It has just the right amount of stretch and is made from the softest cotton imaginable.
Made from 100% Pima cotton.
Due to the nature of our luxuriously soft Peruvian Pima cotton, it will shrink upon first washing. Please follow our care instructions below to ensure the softest and longest life for your garment.
-Machine wash with like colors.
-Delicate cycle in cold water.
-Lay flat to dry.
-Do not use bleach or Oxyclean.
Fits true to size. Clothing should have a relaxed, comfortable fit when new. Note that garments that are 100% cotton will shrink when washed. We typically recommend sizing up if you feel you are between sizes.
This robe (I got the color sunrise) is an absolute dream. Not too light and not too heavy but it provides the warmth you need. Some robes feel so suffocating to me after a while but I could wear this all day and night if I could. I have it paired with the pima tank gown and I feel so comfortable and happy when wearing them. I am 5'5" and 135 lbs. A small in both fits perfectly. The softness is incredible.
This is by far the best robe I have ever owned! The fabric is so soft and decadent. I purchased the size medium and the fit was perfect. It is a longer robe, hitting me right at knee length or just below. I love the pockets and the attached belt (I hate loosing belts in the dryer-such a pain!). I would love to see the shorter robe in other colors, I want to purchase it but I'm not a huge fan of purple. Please make the shorter robe in other colors! Keep doing what you all are doing because the quality of your products are excellent. I will be a customer for life!!
I asked for this robe in a medium (my preferred Lake pajama size) for Christmas. When I opened it I was so sad that it was huge, I considered washing and drying to see if it would shrink enough. I decided to hold off and drive to a Lake retail store to to try on a small and extra small. The extra small fit great and the small was still a little big, knowing how much my PJs shrunk, I opted for the small. After washing and drying it fits perfect. I love throwing it on in the morning when it is too chilly to walk around in short sleeves or right after the shower. For size reference - I am 5'4", around 125 pounds, and typically a size 2/4. Unless you are tall, have super long arms, or very broad shoulders, I would recommend sizing down one from your pajama size. After drying, the small fits great in my shoulders, has plenty of overlap in the front, and falls right at my knees. A previous review mentioned the belt - I love that it is attached - I hate when robe ties slips out of those little loops - not a problem with this one! After drying, I found the tie to hit right at or just slightly above the narrowest part of my waist, a few inches below my rib cage - but I have a really short torso, so if you have a long torso, it would probably hit a little higher. I am now officially addicted to Lake pajamas.
I ordered this in search of a perfect short robe. The fabric is truly lovely - soft and silky and glides easily over pajamas. I got the Lily pink and as a woman of color, it's a bit see-through so don't expect this to be a great "throw on as you leap out of the shower to answer the door" robe. I sized up in order to be able to wash and put in the dryer on low and it shrank appropriately - I was super pleased that the sleeves stayed nice and long. I'm 5"6" 125 lb, 33 chest, 40 hips and a size Small was great with plenty of fabric for a good overlap in front. After washing/drying, the robe hit just at my knee which is perfect. The pockets were too shallow - my iPhone 11 risks slipping out. I do wish this had patch pockets (or, if someone made a robe with BOTH patch pockets AND side seam pockets...that would be amazing). I was a little bummed that the robe did not have french seams like the nightgown that I purchased. The sewn-in tie was set too high - it hits at my upper rib cage like an empire waist dress instead of at my natural waist, but you can probably fault me for that since I decided to put it in the dryer. I also wish the belt wasn't sewn in, because that prevents the robe from gathering in the back so that it's not pulled taut over my booty (there's enough fabric to allow this, just not enough adjustability with the sewn-in tie - basically you can get lots of gathers in the front where the fabric overlaps, but at the back it is pulled tight because it's attached to the belt). I would love it with traditional belt loops or, alternatively, a channel that the belt slides into. Also...deeper colors and/or prints, please, for women of color, so that it's not so see-through! :) Overall, it's a lovely robe for warmer weather/mild climates to take the chill of the air conditioning away.
Not exaggerating when I say I’ve coveted this robe and almost pulled the trigger on it for *years.* I finally brought myself to buy it during a sale and I’m SO glad I did! Lake robe in Moon, where have you been all my life?! Moon is a perfect neutral to complement both the cool tones in most of my Lake pajama collection but also my Lily pink sets. It’s true to size and the arms don’t run short like many robes, so soft, and breathes nicely for all-day wear. My only request? Lake, PLEASE make your Weekend silhouette in Moon - this color is begging to exist in PJ form!
