I can't say enough wonderful things about these pajamas! The fabric, the fit, the design are the best I've ever seen. They look and feel more like silk, but they are 100% Peruvian cotton. I'm 5'8" tall and the large size is the perfect length. Washed in cold water and laid more or less flat to dry, they didn't shrink at all. The elastic waist band is very forgiving. I don't know why all pj's don't have this kind of elastic. It's special. I used to sew my own clothes, so I can appreciate the work that went into these is also special. One more special thing is that I received a letter in the mail from Anna at Lake who had helped me with my order on the phone, thanking me.

I love Lake pajamas, most especially because they carry Tall sizes. I do struggle with the tops on the tall sizes not being long enough. Also, I have a postpartum belly so the sized tops that match the correct pant size are way too tight, in addition to being too short and showing off belly, which is not a thing you generally want when sleeping. So primarily, I pay this high price for such perfectly cozy, adorable bottoms that I buy separate pima t-shirts that fit me to go with. I do with they sold just the pajama bottoms, but just grateful they carry some prints in tall at all. I prefer patterns without a base because the white is so hard to keep clean in real life with kids, but during the sale beggers can't be choosers. Only caveat, never ever ever under any circumstances stick these in the dryer on extra low heat because you will then have a gift to give to a petite person and it will be very very sad. This particular pattern is very delicate and easily can be used outside of the holiday season, which is a total win.
